1CT is much more than your standard boardroom investor.

Our investment muscle is based upon private, high net-worth and self-made investors and experts who often co-invest and otherwise engage in our portfolio companies.

We engage in irresistible companies. Whether early stage with huge promise or more mature and poised to dominate, we engage if we see an opportunity to be the catalysts of an exit within 2-3 years; and we must be able to add the required expertise to make it happen. In other words, we must have the experts at hand and you must be ready to take them on.

We do not “fund” companies. We partner with companies and add funding as needed once we have gained the necessary comfort and developed mutual trust from actually working together. Capital is fuel. Direction and execution are what matters.

Once we have worked together for a while, we invest. While most of our investments range around 1-2m USD we - and our investors - are able to invest up to 10 million USD in each company. We invest gradually and receive options in exchange for the added value that we provide. Our terms are simple and we prefer to be "in the same boat" as the founders. This, we believe, is healthier than classic venture capital preferences.
